GlossGenius business members can sign in through the official mobile app or web-browser login. New businesses may begin with a 14-day trial that does not require a credit card, while existing members can manage plans, billing, cancellation, pausing, or reactivation from authenticated account settings.
This independent guide is not affiliated with GlossGenius.
The main task is identifying the account’s current state. An active subscription, trial, paused account, canceled account, and permanently deleted account require different actions.
What GlossGenius Is
GlossGenius is business software for appointment-based beauty, wellness, salon, spa, and medspa providers. It combines scheduling, a client booking site, payments, marketing, inventory, and other operating tools under a paid subscription structure.
Business members enter the private application. Clients normally use the provider’s public booking page rather than the member login.
Subscription status affects access differently from a forgotten password. A member may know the correct credentials but still need to select a plan or resume billing before normal service is restored. Conversely, a currently active subscriber with a rejected password should use account recovery rather than purchasing another plan.
Start with status, not payment.
Choose the Correct GlossGenius Route
| What you need to do | Correct starting point |
|---|---|
| Enter an active business account | Official GlossGenius login |
| Start evaluating the platform | GlossGenius trial registration |
| Reset a forgotten password | Forgot Password on the login screen |
| Review or change a plan | Subscription settings after login |
| Pause monthly billing temporarily | Pause Subscription in account settings |
| Restore a paused or deactivated account | Login and reactivation flow |
| Cancel future subscription billing | Cancellation option inside the account |
| Permanently remove account data | Separate account-deletion process |
Do this first: determine whether the account is active, paused, deactivated, or deleted. Skip new registration while an existing business profile may still be recoverable.
How to Log In on a Computer
GlossGenius supports browser access on all subscription plans. Its official computer-access documentation directs members to the web login and describes the browser version as a way to use core account features without relying only on the mobile app.
Use the email address connected to the original business account.
A changed public business email does not necessarily mean the authentication email changed. Owners who have used multiple addresses should confirm which one received earlier GlossGenius subscription or account messages.
Do not register a duplicate business because login fails. Another account may not contain the established calendar, client list, services, booking website, billing history, or payment setup.
GlossGenius also operates a public status page. It reports Account Login separately from Payment Processing, which helps distinguish an authentication failure from a transaction or payout problem.
Resetting a GlossGenius Password
From the app or browser login screen, select Forgot Password. Enter the email associated with the account, open the recovery message, and follow the link to enter and confirm a new password.
GlossGenius states that the reset link remains valid for 24 hours. After that period, request another message rather than repeatedly opening the expired link.
Members who are already signed in can begin a password change in the mobile app through:
Features > Settings > Personal information > Reset Password
A recovery email is then sent to the account address.
Use the newest message when several resets were requested. Older emails may remain visible even though their links no longer work.
Check the address first. Skip repeated requests until you have confirmed that the recovery message is being sent to the intended inbox.
Never provide a password or current verification code to an unrelated website, directory, or person who contacts you unexpectedly.
Starting a GlossGenius Trial
GlossGenius currently advertises a 14-day trial with no credit card required. Its trial page presents Standard, Gold, and Platinum options, allowing a new business to begin setup before adding a subscription payment method.
A card can be added during the trial through subscription and billing settings. GlossGenius says that only debit or credit cards are currently accepted for subscription payments through that process.
The company also warns that adding a card during the trial may produce a temporary pending charge for the subscription amount. According to its support documentation, that temporary authorization should fall off within several business days, while the actual subscription charge is made when the trial ends.
That distinction matters.
A pending authorization is not necessarily a completed subscription payment. Check the transaction status before disputing it or adding another payment method.
Users who do not add a valid subscription method should expect possible service interruption after the trial period, based on the company’s trial guidance.
Current GlossGenius Plan Structure
GlossGenius currently lists Standard, Gold, and Platinum plans for beauty and wellness businesses. Its official pricing pages also describe Practice plans for medical spa and aesthetics accounts.
The public trial page currently displays these annual-billing equivalents:
- Standard starting at $24 per month when billed annually;
- Gold starting at $48 per month when billed annually;
- Platinum starting at $148 per month when billed annually.
Monthly billing is higher. The official support page currently lists Standard at $28 monthly, Gold at $56 monthly, and Platinum at $168 monthly, before applicable sales tax.
Prices and included tools can change. Verify the plan picker inside the authenticated account before purchasing, upgrading, or downgrading.
GlossGenius also states that applicable subscription sales tax varies according to location and is calculated using the ZIP code associated with account verification.
Priority one is feature fit. Skip a higher plan when the business does not need its added tools.
Upgrading or Downgrading a Plan
GlossGenius allows members to change plans through subscription settings. Its current downgrade guidance says a plan can be downgraded at any time, including on the auto-renewal date.
The plan picker separates Beauty & Wellness plans from Medspa & Aesthetics plans. Available choices can therefore depend on the business category and current account configuration.
For certain legacy subscriptions, GlossGenius documents this browser route:
Settings > Subscription > View Plans
The member can then switch between monthly and annual billing or choose another eligible plan. GlossGenius says the new plan is charged immediately, the billing cycle resets, and unused time from the previous plan is credited toward the new payment. Coupons may be removed during the change.
Review the confirmation screen carefully.
An immediate prorated charge after changing plans is different from an unauthorized duplicate subscription. Preserve the displayed plan, billing frequency, credit, tax, and final amount before confirming.
Pausing a GlossGenius Account
GlossGenius offers a pause option for qualifying accounts. While the account is paused, the company says subscription billing stops; logging back in and resuming the subscription triggers the associated fee.
The documented mobile route is:
Settings > Subscription & Billing > Current Plan > Pause Subscription
The account owner is asked to provide a brief explanation, after which the GlossGenius team processes the pause and sends a notification.
Annual subscriptions are not currently eligible for pausing under the published policy.
Pause is not cancellation.
It is intended for a temporary break where the owner expects to resume using the same business account. A paused public booking site may also become unavailable to clients while the subscription is inactive.
Use pause when the interruption is temporary. Skip permanent deletion unless the owner is certain the account and its associated data are no longer needed.
Canceling a GlossGenius Subscription
GlossGenius requires a cancellation form accessed from inside the account.
The current mobile route is:
Settings > Personal & Contact Info > Delete Account & Business
A pop-up then offers the account-cancellation option.
The documented browser route is:
Settings > Subscription > Subscription & Billing > Cancel Subscription
Cancellation stops the subscription through the company’s cancellation process. It is not the same as permanently deleting all account data.
This distinction deserves attention. A business owner who may return later should review cancellation, pausing, and data-export options before choosing deletion.
Keep confirmation records. Save the date submitted and any non-sensitive cancellation confirmation supplied by GlossGenius.
Reactivating a Deactivated Account
GlossGenius says a deactivated account can generally be reactivated by selecting a subscription plan and completing payment. Reactivation requires Account Owner access and can be completed through the mobile app or web browser.
Log in with the original account credentials rather than starting a new trial. Then follow the plan-selection and payment prompts presented for that account.
A forgotten password should be recovered first. A deactivated account and an inaccessible inbox are two separate problems.
Reactivation may not be available in every situation. The company’s documentation notes that plan changes and certain account conditions can affect whether restoration is possible.
When the reactivation screen does not appear or payment cannot be completed, contact official support with the account email, visible non-sensitive message, and approximate date of deactivation.
Cancellation Is Not Deletion
GlossGenius describes account deletion as permanent and irreversible. It removes the data associated with the account, subject to information the company may be legally permitted to retain.
That is materially different from canceling a subscription.
Cancel: stops subscription service through the cancellation process.
Pause: temporarily suspends eligible monthly subscription billing.
Delete: permanently removes the account and associated data.
Do not choose deletion merely to stop a recurring payment. Use the subscription-cancellation route unless permanent removal is the intended result.
Export any business information that must be retained before deletion. Once the deletion process is completed, normal reactivation should not be assumed possible.
Contacting GlossGenius Support
GlossGenius currently lists support availability Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
Prepare a narrow description before reaching support:
- whether the account is in trial, active, paused, canceled, or deactivated;
- whether login succeeds;
- the current plan and billing frequency;
- the date of the unexpected charge or interruption;
- the exact non-sensitive screen message;
- whether a cancellation, pause, or reactivation request was already submitted.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, complete payment-card information, bank credentials, government identification numbers, or confidential client records.
GlossGenius FAQ
Does GlossGenius have a trial?
Yes. The current trial lasts 14 days.
Is a credit card required to start?
No. GlossGenius currently says no card is required to begin the trial.
Why do I see a pending charge during the trial?
Adding a subscription card may create a temporary authorization for the subscription amount. GlossGenius says the pending charge should drop off within several business days, with the actual charge occurring when the trial ends.
Can I pause my subscription?
Eligible monthly accounts can request a pause. Annual billing accounts are not currently eligible under the published pause policy.
Can I downgrade at any time?
GlossGenius currently says yes, including on the auto-renewal date. Review the prorated amount and affected features before confirming.
How do I cancel GlossGenius?
Use the cancellation option inside the authenticated account and complete the required form. The web route is Settings > Subscription > Subscription & Billing > Cancel Subscription.
Can I reopen a canceled or deactivated account?
A deactivated account may be reactivated by logging in, selecting a plan, and completing payment, provided the account remains eligible for reactivation.
Is deleting the account the same as canceling?
No. Deletion is permanent and removes account data, while cancellation addresses the subscription.
